Dalle de France is a specific technique designed to age limestone which was developed to accommodate the unusually large number of chateaux, palace and museum restorations undertaken in France each year. In these applications, the newly quarried limestone needs to match, as closely as possible, the existing antique limestone in these historical buildings. Because of the authentic antique look and feel to the stone, we have utilized the Dalle de France finish on many different types of stone.
